Whether an E-way bill is required for the intracity and interstate movement of goods in Gujarat? Please share the circular for the same.

Reply—As per Notification issued on Rule 138(14)/b.19 dated 19/09/2018, E-way bill not required for—

1) intra-city movement of goods in Gujarat for any goods of any value.

2) intra-state movement of Hank, Yarn, Fabric and Garments transported for the purpose of job work of any value.

Other than above case, E-way bill is required to be generated if value of consignment is more than Rs. 50,000/-.
