Dear Sir I am composition dealer Our goods were burned in the fire and the insurance company approved the claim on stock . Can i have to pay any GST on stock value which burned in fire.?

Reply- In case of composition dealers, ITC is not allowed and therefore ITC reversal in terms of section 17(5)(h) for destroyed goods will not applicable in above case.
