A person running a laundry wants to register as service provider with composite at 6% . While registration as we select the option composite the column service provider is blocked. Let us know the provision whether he will get composite or it there any restriction to register a new composition at 6%. What is the law in this

Reply— While applying for registration on GSTN portal, In the option for composition field, select 'Yes' in case you want to opt for the Composition Levy. After that, select the checkbox for category of registered person.

Make sure you have selected 'Yes', by default it will be treated that taxpayer is not applying for composition scheme and all options will be blocked.
