One Of Our Client Return Has Filed Return Of Income And We Have Sent Acknowledgement For E-Verification To Cpc. But Somehow The Acknowledgement Has Misplaced By Them. And They Are Saying That The Return Is Invalid.

The time limit for verification of e-return is submission of ITR-V within 120 days from the date of e-filing the return, therefore If the period of 120 days has not been elapsed; the assessee can send a signed copy of ITR-V again to Income Tax Department.
Whereas if the period of 120 days has been elapsed, the assessee is required to file a revised return.
