Section 132 of the CGST Act, 2017— Anticipatory Bail - The petitioner prayed for anticipatory bail. The Petitioners are husband and wife and it is alleged that the their Companies were involved in circular bill trading in the State of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The petitioner counsel submitted that the petitioners are ready to co-operate with the investigation and they are ready to abide by the conditions imposed by this Court. The court observed that while considering the similar aspect in Criminal Petition No.497/2019 decided on 18.2.2019 they have discussed all the points elaborately and held that the accused-petitioners were entitled to be released on bail. The instant case also has similar allegations.
