Section 83 of the CGST Act, 2017—Provisional attachment of Bank Accounts -- The petitioner challenged attachments orders whereby his bank account has been attached. The commissioner of Central CGST East Delhi, was personally present. He stated that proceeding against the petitioner under Section 74 of Act, 2017 shall be initiated within four weeks. The counsel for petitioner prayed for an adjournment on the ground that he is not feeling well.
Held that:- The Hon’ble High Court re-notified on 16th December, 2020.
